Instrument Survey
The traditional approach, but using first-order reflectorless instruments (REDM) or subsecond instruments for monitoring and control.
Photogrammetry
Two- or three-dimensional measurement, surveys and orthophotographs produced from film or digital images.
Aerial Survey
For the preparation of plans, orthophotomaps and digital terrain models from 'vertical' aerial photography.
Photography
Medium and large format film imaging plus high resolution digital photography, scanning and in-house film-processing.
Laser-scanning
Rapid data-collection with the bonus of 'point-clouds' giving mass three-dimensional data prior to being processed into more conventional forms.
CAD Operations
All data from Downland is processed through either AutoCad or Microstation before being converted into the end-user system format.
