CAD Modelling

The words CAD Modelling cover a wide range of options from simple wire frame models to complex rendered pipework models of entire plant areas.

The basic ingredient is sufficient three-dimensional data in CAD format. In the case of new design then this data is obtained from the architect's or engineer's design drawings. In the case of an existing building, bridge structure or process area the data may have to be obtained from surveying by laser scanner.
